Little Red
Little Red
Went into the wood
Stepped off the path
And lost her hood
Her mother warned
Not to stray
Met with experience
That fateful day
Spied by a stranger
Milling about
Giant eyes, white teeth
A grinning mouth
Seemed very nice
But incredibly coy
He led her astray
The devilish boy
The wolf licked his lips
Took one bite and then
Opened his mouth
And ate her again
Off went the hood
On forest floor
And Little Red
Was seen no more

Poor read. I hope she finds her way. Even is not back home.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to think she gained more from the experience than the wolf did.
