One that represents
You and me
How would you trace the lines?
Where would we touch?
How deep the roots?
How strong the trunk?
Where do we stand?
On solid ground?
Or shaky sand?
Is it two individuals
That become one
With branches
Irrevocably tangled
Reaching out
Toward the sun
