I am the one that never repeats

Never the same and never ending

I am the changing numerics of the world

Haunted by the unknown distance of the stars

The centrifuge of the earth as it spins

Waving to an unbound ocean tide

Grains of sand found on forbidden shores

And the myriad days uncounted between

Like the turn of an hourglass reset at zero

We follow the numbers into infinity
