Dawn

I want nothing more than to lay down
With my head upon your naked chest
That I may listen to your heart beating
And fall asleep to the rhythm of your breath
As your fingers play the strings of my hair
And  your lips sing to me in gentle kisses
I long for the calm of your embrace
And the quiet strength  of your arms
So I may finally rest before the dawn
