Regret of Inaction 

For all the marks 

In the book of my life

I have few regrets

Few mistakes that I would erase

To do over again

But your name carries two

One solely for me 

And the other for you

I regret 

That I went against my true nature

And stayed myself 

From the action I most desired

And I regret

That you were not brave

Who, after you asked me to stay,

Did not take the chance to move

And perhaps it is that

The regret of inaction

That I am most sorrowful for

That I stayed

And you did not move
