Echoes

I have created

This space for you 

In my heart

And when you are absent

It feels hollow

My heart still beats

But there is an echo

That calls out to you

In the void

And this space 

Remains empty

Unless you are there 

To fill it 

Because it is the size 

And shape of you

If you were to leave

I know 

I would hear

The echo of you

In every heartbeat

For the rest of my life
