Pages
I was reading
And lost the page in my book
I couldn't figure out the story
Couldn't remember where I was
How far along I had read
I was so engrossed in the tale
Flipping back and forth
Reading and rereading
Unsure whether I had past that part
Or if I had skipped
Too many pages ahead
Ruining what was to come
It's like that with you sometimes
I get lost in your pages
And I can't read you anymore
I'm afraid that I will spoil the ending
By reading too much into
