My dreams

Tell stories

They are so vivid

They must be real

Do I live another life there?

Or are they visions?

When I dream of the past

Is that who I was?

When I dream of the future

Is that who I will become?

And the faces I know

I’m sure I’ve seen them before

The important ones

The ones I loved

I recognize immediately

So if I meet you

Smile suddenly

And say

It’s nice to see you again

Don’t be surprised

For we may have already met
