Old Ford

Old Ford

I don’t want a fast car
I want a slow truck
With a bench seat
So I can cuddle close
And you can put one arm
Around my shoulder
And the other on the wheel
I’ll put my feet up on the seat
As the autumn wind blows
Through our open windows
The music speaks for us both
Tires kicking up dirt
In great clouds behind us
We’ll travel down country roads
Lined with tall trees
Known only to you and me

    1. It’s definitely heading in that direction. Still some warm sun if you catch the day right.
