Over Your Head

Swimming on the surface

The water is fine 

Warm and refreshing 

Cooling blood and skin 

But dive down

To where the water is dark

And the light doesn't penetrate

You begin to feel the pressure

Whether you brave the depths

Or swim in the shallows

Whatever the water

You’re bound to get in

Over your head
