More times than I can count
And I don't know why
It should come as such a surprise
It's not like it was the first time
And now I fear
I will wait another age
For how often do you find love
Not once
Not twice
But time and time again
And while each begins differently
It always ends the same
With you leaving
And me left behind
I should have known
I should have felt it coming
And guarded my heart
From this sorry state
But even that was inevitable
          We were destined to love
