Two Months

Saw my parents today
For the first time in two months
We were supposed to physically distance
But as soon as I saw them
I burst into tears
My dad hugged me
And laughed at the same time
Because he thought I was being silly
We were all alright
My mom bumped elbows
Cause she's the pragmatic one
But I hugged her anyway
Some things are worth the risk
And now I'm crying again
Because one day
Two months will go by
And there won't be a hug
And laughter waiting
At the end of it
