I don’t know how you are
I haven’t heard from you in ages
There’s been no tell of you
No sign anywhere
And I admit I’m worried
More than worried
I’m frightened
Scared that you’ve left this world
And me with it
And I have no way of knowing
Except you said
I’d know
But I don’t
And that’s the worst feeling
I get these twinges
A pain in my chest
That I hope is you
Thinking of me
And not just me in my head
Panic-stricken
When I think about
Losing you
