Sun-godly radiant
How he captured my eye
Almost paralyzed

So eager to escape
This body’s cage
Beckoning him
How I wish
He had been

But I was afraid
Of how much
I loved him
So much so
That I love him still
Imagine how impossible
Leaving would have been

What it lost
