Sisyphean

Sisyphean

I'm so tired. 

I feel like I'm climbing a mountain

And when I'm nearly at the peak the clouds disperse

To reveal another taller, steeper ascent just over the crest

And in the distance I see another beyond that

I climb and climb and climb until I'm exhausted

One foot in front of the other until I can go no further

I sit down for a moment to rest from the load

But the moment I stop it all goes downhill and I have to start again

I'm tired; I'm just so so tired.
