Catch and Release

Sometimes I catch an idea 

I toy with it  

Letting it run itself out

Before reeling it back in

But when it struggles with me

And fights to break the line

I let it go

To swim back down  

Where it came from

I won’t hold on 

To what isn’t ready

To be caught
