I don’t expect I will ever be famous

Nor do I think I would want to be

I’m happy just writing for me

But I have this secret fantasy

That sometime in the future

Someone will stumble across my poetry

And they will be so touched by it

They will publish my work posthumously

And I can be famous well after I’m gone
