Crushing

The weight of tiredness

Is crushing

Falling into bed

And sinking into the depths

Trying to lift anything

Whether arm or head

Feels like the pressure of an ocean

Or being buried beneath the earth

I close my eyes

And plummet thankfully

Into space

And try not to move
