Si elle est la lune

Alors je suis le soleil

La lumière qui illumine le jour

Et illumine l'obscurité

Je n'orbite pas

J'existe simplement

Et pendant que tu la regardes

Je brûle pour toi

If she is the moon

    Would enjoy listening to the poem in French, can only imagine its impact (which is not to say the English is less than lovely.)
