Crowded

Crowded

She heard voices

Wrote the words

From inside her head

Sometimes it was hard

To keep track of the

Conversation

So she’d speak aloud

Just to hear herself think

But there was a benefit

To having a crowded mind

Even when she was alone

She was never lonely

  1. I love this. And I agree with what this poems says about the gift that is the muse. One can never be alone while she whispers (and sometimes screams) inside one's head.
