Time passes

Ever so slowly

When you are young

It feels that life will never begin

You wait and wait and wait

Until suddenly it seems

Time has sped up and life

Has somehow passed you by

And you can never go back

To live those moments over again

For time has come and gone

Now all that remains is a fleeting memory
