This is hard
So much harder
Than I ever
Thought it would be
It is so very hard
To say good bye
When no one
Is actually leaving
We are here
We are both still here
Two strangers who became friends
Who will soon become strangers again
Because you would not
Let me in
Could not see me
Through your walls
And those who hurt you
Those who jaded you
Have turned your heart to stone
And made you too hard
