I get so jealous
When I see you interact
With others
The way you do
With me
And I know that
I'm not entitled
To this feeling
I am not yours
And you are not mine
And we do not belong
To one another
And yet I feel something
Special
Something shared solely
With you
And it hurts my heart
To think
You could have found
What we have
So easily in another
And then I remember
That I am not important
No one of any significance
Just a voice in the dark
But I begin to wonder
When I talk to others
The way I do with you
Do you feel jealous
Because they aren't you
