Blooms

Blooms

Some need constant attention
Tender loving care
And the right environment
In order to survive

Some thrive on their own
Hearty not needing anyone
Or anything at all
To flourish

Some need manure
To be mired in muck
And that is what best suits
Their nature

While others need the blade
To prune back what is dead
In order to give life
New growth

Whichever the flower
Each is beautiful
In its own way
When it finally blooms
