Quiet
I want to go
Where they
Turn the music
Up so loud
We cannot speak
The bass thumps
So intensely
It becomes
A second heartbeat
I want to go somewhere loud
So we can drown out the noise
And just be quiet

I like the cryptic way this is written , a hidden meaning in a way if I read it correctly
ReplyDeleteThank you. Sometimes what's going on inside my head is so loud I need something even louder to make it seem quiet. I guess it's that old saying... "it's so loud I can't hear myself think."
