  4. Small and delicious like a raspberry! I loved the brevity, the metaphors, and the wonderful title which can be taken two ways. Altogether brilliant.

  5. A wonderfully oxymoronic title, Lori, and I love the sensuality of ‘scarlet days’ and ‘roses you taste’ – in my experience, there are usually some kind of thorns.

  6. Oh you've always got to watch out for those thorns. But for a taste of that sweet stuff, it's worth the risk.
