Day 8 of Self-Isolation...
192 hours in lockdown and the inmates have taken over the asylum. Mandatory cleaning is continuing despite daily protests. All attempts to sustain any sort of structure and routine has proved to be an unmitigated disaster. Small inmate refuses to go to bed while large inmate refuses to get up. Basic time management has been futile. Use of food as positive reinforcement has been terminated; small inmate is refusing to eat anything but waffles, large inmate is attempting to eat a month's worth of rations in the hope of early release. Note: food stores are at sufficient levels, toilet paper is being rationed. Creation of a daily regimen must be established before chaos ensues. Using the phrase "I'm bored" has now been prohibited and removed from acceptable lexicon. Despite positive outset, spirits are beginning to wane; need less whine and more wine.
