There are those that live
In a state of melancholy
Mourning the moments
That have been lived
And lost
Knowing 
They will never happen again

And there are those that live
In a state of contentment
Happy in the knowledge
That these precious moments 
Happened at all
And that they have been lucky
To be a part of 
The experience
