Disappearing
I walk the shores alone
Waves erasing my footprints
From the sand
And when I chance to look back
It is empty
Like I was never even there

There is a thread in much of your poetry ~~~ lonely, solitary. You write it well ~~
ReplyDeleteProbably my inner introvert longing for a little solitude. ;)
DeleteI agree with Helen's assessment, but just partially. To me, a lot of your poetry reads like the speaker is maintaining a conversation with the universe. One full of reflection... where there is longing, but not really loneliness.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Magaly. That feels entirely like me and I'm so glad that is what speaks to you.
